Message from Mr Foster

Dear Parents/carers, staff, pupils and governors,

Football – Congratulations to our girls’ football team who beat Alderman Richard Hallam 3-2, St Thomas More 3-1 and drew with Linden Primary 2-2 this week. Our boys are playing in the final stages of the Ray Gamble Trophy next week.

Attendance – the overall school figure of 92.3% for the week before half term was very low. Our EWO (Education Welfare Officer) has expressed concerns about this. Only five classes – 6KE, 5SC, 6JH, 2MK and 2PP were above our 95% target. Please ensure that your child attends school every day unless there are exceptional circumstances. Absence from school significantly hampers pupil progress and overall academic achievement.

Welcome to the B.L.W. Academy

Hi to all of you that have come to visit the B.L.W. Academy blog.

This blog is for everyone to comment, discuss recent sessions and to speak directly to your coaches! You will be able to see videos of certain sports and techniques and handy hints for all sports we love and enjoy!
