Cossington Library
If you would like to know what to do to help your primary aged child, book a place on this free session. Reading specialists from Dyslexia Lifeline will be at Cossington Street library on 24 February at 1pm.
The talk will last for about an hour and there will be time for questions and discussion after this. They’ll explain what’s involved in the reading process, what sometimes goes wrong and how parents and carers can support their children. Make sure you book a place as numbers will be limited. Leave your name at the desk in the library or call (0116) 299 5500 to reserve a place.

Message from Mr Foster
Dear All,
The Apprentice is going from strength to strength. Keep up with all the latest videos via our You Tube site on http://www.abbey.leicester.sch.uk – last week’s ‘new dance craze’ videos are great to watch. Also – look back at Week 2’s chocolate adverts – compelling viewing!
Thought for the first day back after the holiday … “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” – Dr Seuss. For each day of our lives … “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.” – Mae West. I hope everyone has a restful and peaceful half term break. Don’t forget to see Mrs Dina Foster if you are interested in Play Scheme and Mr Ryan Haycock if you want to book your child into his half term ‘Sports Scheme’.
