Facebook Advice
We are aware that many of our pupils have a Facebook account. We believe it is necessary to issue advice on this, as to ensure the safety of the pupils and stop any incidents occurring, which could impact on staff, parents and pupils.
A letter and Facebook settings advice was sent out to all Year 5 and 6 pupils on the 6th of December 2012. These documents can also be found on the school website in the ‘Letters to Parents’ section under ‘Parent Pages and in the ‘e-safety’ section under ‘Safeguarding’. The settings have also been posted in the e-safety blog and in all Year 5 and 6 class blogs.
Please note that staff have been advised that they are not to accept friend requests from parents or pupils.
Please contact myself or Mr Sahu should you have any concerns or need any more information.
Mr Foster
