What’s your funniest book moment?

I love the hilarious ‘Squiggly Spaghetti’ moment in ‘The Twits’ when Mrs Twit serves her grizzly husband worms!

You can read the chapter yourselves if you have the book! Or … watch the You Tube clip (with your parents’ permission) on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWvyB-QvbVA

What I’m Reading

Dear Pupils, Parents, Staff and Governors

I am currently reading ‘Water for Elephants’ by Sara Gruen. This novel is gripping and full of the fun and terror of the circus in America’s Depression era. The story may sound a little clichéd: a boy stealing the girl away from her evil husband, but it’s the background which makes it so much more than that – there is constant underlying threat and suspense.

Why not leave a comment and share what you are reading? Tell us why you love the book!

The best comment next week will receive a £10 book token to be awarded in Friday’s assemblies.

For pupils and parents please leave yours/child’s first name and class in the comment.

Enjoy your reading!
